Key Responsibilities Meat Preparation & Cutting • Cut, trim and portion lamb, chicken and beef to order, • Maintain consistent portion sizes and minimise waste, • Use knives and equipment safely and efficiently Health & Safety • Follow all food hygiene, health & safety and HACCP procedures, • Keep work areas clean, sanitised and well organised, • Correctly store, label and rotate stock (FIFO) Orders, Data & Systems • Read and process printed orders accurately, • Record quantities and items correctly for each order, • Use QuickBooks (or similar system) for basic data entry / order handling (training can be provided) Communication & Teamwork • Communicate clearly with the packing/operations team and management, • Report issues such as low stock, quality concerns or equipment problems, • Work well under pressure in a busy, night-time environment, • Requirements, • Previous experience as a Butcher (retail, wholesale or restaurant) – essential, • Confident working with lamb, chicken & beef, • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety in a meat environment, • Ability to read and follow printed orders, • Basic computer skills; experience with QuickBooks is an advantage, • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team, • Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts and start immediately, • What We Offer, • Competitive pay (dependent on experience), • Full-time, stable night-shift work, • All Bank Holidays OFF, • Opportunity to grow with a scaling business, • Friendly and supportive team
