Yorkshire Staffing are currently seeking experienced Class 1 C+E Drivers across Kingston-Upon-Hull and surrounding areas.
Job Summary:
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be an essential part of our client's operations, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods during the night shift. Your role will involve operating HGV vehicles, delivering goods to specified locations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport goods from origin to designated delivery locations.
Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling and care.
Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating a professional and courteous attitude while representing both agency and our clients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid C+E driving license.
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, including driving and working time rules.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
