Overview: We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Responsibilities: • Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies., • Safely load, secure, and unload cargo to prevent damage during transit., • Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods across designated locations., • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues promptly., • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption., • Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving hours, load limits, and safety protocols., • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays., • Uphold a professional appearance and behaviour when representing the company on the road. Skills • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles., • Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK., • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record., • Ability to operate large vehicles confidently and manoeuvre in tight spaces when necessary., • Good organisational skills for route planning and documentation management., • Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when required., • Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific vehicle types if necessary.
