Cocktail Bartender

OITA, Japanese Restaurant in Wood Green is looking for a creative and dynamic Bartender to join our team. You will be expected to create and prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic cocktails for bar and restaurant guests, taking orders and serving drinks to the highest standards. Full time position available around 40 hours a week, including all weekends. Previous experience in a busy pub environment is preferred but not essential, hard-working, punctual, honest and reliable are a must. You must be a team player with a natural can-do attitude and a proactive-forward thinking approach, articulate and organised and have a friendly enthusiastic personality. Able to multitask, serving customers and assisting the kitchen, maintaining an organised and tidy bar at all times. You must be flexible and available to work according to business needs. Responsibilities: · Maintaining a well-stocked bar, including all ingredients needed to prepare signature drinks and standard drink orders. · Preparing alcoholic & specialty drinks · Setting up bar stations with supplies such as glasses, bottles of liquor etc. · Maintaining a clean and organized bar area to ensure a safe environment for customers. · Consulting with customers on their drink orders to ensure they are served correctly and efficiently. · Mixing ingredients in accordance with recipes to create special drinks or cocktails. Experience: · Great knowledge of spirits. · Able to think on your feet and work under pressure. · Great communication skills to engage with customers and understand their preferences as well as explain the ingredients & preparation for their drinks.
