Reports to: Chief Operating Officer for Club Revenue Generation
& Board Member for Sponsorship
Job purpose
To manage existing sponsors and recruit new ones.
To develop new revenue generating commercial opportunities for the
club such as events and venue usage.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver sponsorship revenue targets for Chinnor RFC in line with
the Club’s strategy by growing and diversifying the Club’s range of
existing sponsors.
Develop new ideas and initiatives on how we can keep find new
markets/areas of potential new sponsors.
Develop long term relationships with our sponsors – new and
existing – to ensure they are retained as sponsors and ensure they
have an enjoyable and valuable experience as a result of their
sponsorship.
Working with our signage partner, manage the Club’s pitch side
board and program details for sponsors.
Work with Events Manager and social media agency to secure non
rugby bookings for the Club’s facilities marquee and Club house
facilities.
Work closely with the Club senior management to agree the Club’s
sponsorship packages each year and the communication of them
to potential new sponsors working in conjunction with the social
media agency.
Manage the international ticket allocation process working with
relevant volunteers.
To report to the Board on progress each month and potential
opportunities.
