We are looking for an experienced Fish Fryer to join our busy fish & chip shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for frying fish and chips to a high standard, maintaining food quality, following food hygiene procedures, and keeping the fry station clean and organised.

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Part-Time Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine, with a strong focus on presentation, freshness, and food safety. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent dining experience to our customers. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and present a variety of sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes, • Ensure all food is prepared to high standards of quality, taste, and presentation, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sushi station at all times, • Handle and store fish and other ingredients safely in line with food hygiene regulations, • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering fresh ingredients when required, • Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail, • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service, • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Requirements • Previous experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role, • Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and fish handling, • Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certification preferred), • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and presentation skills, • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, • Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary creativity is a plus

Looking for enthusiastic staff with experience or interest in cooking. Sandwich and breakfast experience essential.
