Data Scientist – Optimizely Commerce Analytics - TECHSERA INC LTD - High Wycombe

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Analyze e-commerce data from Optimizely Commerce platforms to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as conversion rate, customer lifetime value (CLV), average order value (AOV), and funnel performance.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support business questions and hypotheses.
Assist in designing, analyzing, and interpreting A/B tests and multivariate experiments within Optimizely.
Ensure statistical rigor in experiment evaluation and provide clear recommendations based on results.
Monitor ongoing experiments and flag anomalies or data inconsistencies.
Clean, preprocess, and validate structured and unstructured datasets.
Work with data engineers to ensure proper data collection, tracking, and storage.
Maintain data quality and integrity across multiple data sources.
Support development of basic predictive models (e.g., customer segmentation, churn prediction, recommendation systems).
Apply statistical techniques and machine learning methods under guidance from senior team members.
Translate data findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with marketing, UX, and product teams to improve customer journeys and personalization strategies.
Document methodologies, processes, and findings.

 Qualifications/Skills/Experience: 

Understanding of basic statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, probability).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Effective communication skills—both written and verbal.
   Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Good time management and organizational skills.
