Are you ready to take the next step in your career within children’s residential care? This is an excellent opportunity for an established Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Support Worker looking to progress into leadership.
You will be joining a well-established, Good-rated, PACE-focused children’s home, where your contributions will directly influence the quality of care and the positive outcomes we create for young people.
Our 3-bed home supports children aged 7–17 with Learning Disabilities and SEMH needs. We are building a nurturing, therapeutic environment and are seeking a confident, motivated Deputy Manager who is committed to delivering exceptional, child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a skilled staff team
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care using a PACE-informed approach
  • Oversee budgets, resources, and operational tasks
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to use initiative
  • Experience in a children’s residential care setting
  • Commitment to therapeutic, child-centred practice
  • Full driving licence (due to location requirements)

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
Experience:

  • Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • NVQ3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) (preferred)
