A Decadent Affair is an independent dessert company specialising in cakes, cheesecakes, brownies and many more indulgent treats. We’re looking for a passionate Dessert Assistant to join our growing team and help us create unforgettable desserts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of desserts.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely (Waffle Machine, Mixers, Blenders, Ovens etc.).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe work environment.
- Clean dishes and utensils.
- Support the lead baker/pastry chef in special projects and custom orders.
- Assist with packaging, labelling, and customer orders.
Qualifications
- Experience preparing and handling food (preferable), training will be given to the right candidate.
- Excellent comprehension of reading, writing and speaking English.
- Strong attention to detail, work efficiently and a love for precision.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during busy holiday seasons.
- Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- Passion for baking, cooking and desserts.
