A Decadent Affair is an independent dessert company specialising in cakes, cheesecakes, brownies and many more indulgent treats that bring joy to every occasion. We’re looking for a passionate Bakery/Pastry Assistant to join our growing team and help us create unforgettable desserts. Key Responsibilities • Assist in preparation of products., • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes., • Operate kitchen equipment safely (mixers, ovens, etc.)., • Decorate cakes with care and creativity., • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment., • Clean dishes and utensils as required, • Support the lead baker/pastry chef in special projects and custom orders., • Occasionally assist with packaging, labelling, and customer orders. Qualifications • Previous baking/pastry experience (professional or home-based), • Previous experience of cake decorating preferable (professional or home-based), • Strong attention to detail and a love for precision., • Ability to work mornings, weekends, and during busy holiday seasons., • Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic., • Passion for baking, desserts, and delighting customers.
