We are seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant café environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and tea but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter our establishment.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to health regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions with basic math skills for accurate till management.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport.
Skills
Previous barista experience, showcasing your ability to create quality beverages.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in food preparation areas.
Strong serving skills to ensure customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing till operations effectively.
Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service.
A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members alike.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to join our team 4 days a week 6am - 4pm. No evenings or split shifts.
