The Role:

  • Pristine Maintenance: Cleaning and sorting our props (vases, candlesticks etc) to an impeccable standard.
  • Packing & Logistics: Safely prepping orders and checking in/unpacking returns.
  • Plinth Refurbishment: Sanding and repainting plinths for specific orders (a steady hand and neat finish are essential!).
  • Studio Support: Helping maintain our shared creative space.

Ideal Candidate:


You have a "meticulous" eye for detail, are comfortable with a paint roller, and have a proactive attitude.


This is a brilliant "ground floor" opportunity for someone interested in events, luxury floristry, or set styling to grow with a new business.


Basis: Ad-hoc / Flexible (Starting a few hours per week but flexes with orders)


Core studio hours are 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, but we offer flexibility for evening/weekend work where needed.


The Glass House is a curated prop hire business specializing in high-end glassware, contemporary plinths, and editorial event pieces.


We share our Battersea studio with our sister company, a leading luxury florist. As we grow, we are looking for a meticulous and reliable individual to join us on a freelance basis.
