You will be experienced in producing detailed estimates and breakdown of quotations within a range of trades. You will need to have at least 5 years experience split between on site works and quoting detailed estimates. The ranges could be up to £200k which again you shall need experience in completing. Day to day of the Commercial Estimator: Handle quotations which are provided by the project manager on site or by enquires through email. Provide thorough breakdowns of the quotations to the clients to ensure there are no discrepancies.
