They’re looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant who brings warmth, resilience, and a real passion for supporting children with additional needs. What you’ll be doing: • Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, PMLD and SLD., • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored, engaging learning activities, • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and understood, • Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development throughout the school day, • Supporting with personal care where required, always with dignity and respect, • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, in schools or care settings, • A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine desire to make a difference, • Someone who stays calm under pressure and adapts to the needs of each child, • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to get stuck in, • A supportive, welcoming team who truly value their staff, • Ongoing training and development opportunities, • A chance to make a real impact in a child’s life, every single day If you’re not already Thrive trained, we’ll help get the ball rolling.
