We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our busy fish and chips shop. You’ll support the cook and front-of-house team by preparing food, keeping the kitchen clean, and ensuring orders are served quickly and to a high standard.
-Assist with preparing food items (peeling potatoes, battering fish, portioning chips, etc.)
-Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely (training provided)
-Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, work surfaces, and utensils in line with food hygiene standards
-Wash dishes, pans, and utensils as required
-Help with stock rotation and checking deliveries
-Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
-Support the team with packing and serving takeaway orders when needed
-Work efficiently to keep up during busy periods.
We are looking for someone to work minimum 4 days a week (Friday and Saturday mandatory).
