Kitchen Assistant – Mi & More (Part-Time) We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team. Duties Include: • Food preparation, • Preparing ingredients for service, • Making Vietnamese summer rolls and other dishes, • Keeping the kitchen organised and stocked, • Washing up and general kitchen porter duties, • Assisting with light cooking tasks, • Helping ensure smooth service throughout the day Hours: *Tuesday To Saturday 12PM - 4PM Additional hours may become available for the right candidate as the business grows. Key Responsibilities • Assist chefs with daily food preparation and ingredient handling, • Prepare vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients as instructed, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas, • Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools, • Ensure food storage areas are clean, organised, and properly labelled, • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times, • Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures, • Assist with stock deliveries and storage of goods, • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, • Report any maintenance, safety, or hygiene concerns to management Requirements • Previous kitchen experience is preferred, • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene, • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
