Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate training programmes that develop players’ skills and game understanding.
Lead regular sessions, providing individual attention and constructive feedback to ensure every player progresses.
Teach players about tactics, rules, and sportsmanship, encouraging fair play and respect on and off the pitch.
Monitor and analyse player performance during training and matches to guide their improvement.
Create a positive and inclusive team culture that fosters confidence, collaboration, and enjoyment.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all players by adhering to health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
Qualifications
DBS eligibility and experience working with children is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of football techniques, tactics, and rules.
Excellent communication and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and engage young players.
Ability to maintain a fun, energetic, and supportive learning environment.
Coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential — as we can support you in gaining FA coaching, safeguarding, and First Aid certifications.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in coaching and player development.
