Position: M&E Supervisor
Location: Brighton, England
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced M&E Supervisor to join our team for an exciting new build residential project in Brighton. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the project, ensuring that installations meet high standards of quality, safety, and compliance
**Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical and electrical engineers on-site, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems in new residential apartments, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and power distribution.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, resources used, and any alterations to project plans.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the project.
Facilitate communication between different trades, ensuring seamless integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements.
Assist in the preparation of progress reports and participate in project meetings, providing updates on M&E progress and challenges
**Qualifications:
Proven experience as an M&E Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably on residential projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, installation techniques, and relevant building codes and regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of work are maintained.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering or a related field
