Position: M&E Supervisor

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced M&E Supervisor to join our team for an exciting new build residential project in Brighton. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the project, ensuring that installations meet high standards of quality, safety, and compliance
**Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical and electrical engineers on-site, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. - Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems in new residential apartments, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and power distribution. - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary. - Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project specifications and regulatory requirements are met. - Maintain accurate records of work completed, resources used, and any alterations to project plans. - Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the project. - Facilitate communication between different trades, ensuring seamless integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements. - Assist in the preparation of progress reports and participate in project meetings, providing updates on M&E progress and challenges
**Qualifications: - Proven experience as an M&E Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably on residential projects. - Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, installation techniques, and relevant building codes and regulations. - Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of work are maintained. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. - Relevant qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering or a related field
