The hours for this role will change to a 1:00–2:00 am start upon completion of our oven separation project.
Artisanal Baker – Night Shift (UK Residents or Settled Status Applicants Only)
Location: Unit 5, Station Field Industrial Estate, Kidlington, OX5 1JD Start
Date: ASAP Hours: 9-hour shifts (including 30-minute break), 5 days on / 2 days off
Shift Patterns:
Sunday to Thursday: 10:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Friday to Saturday: 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM Join
Our Award-Winning Bakery Team We are looking for a passionate and skilled Artisanal Baker to bring their craft to our busy night shift team. What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating ovens and managing baking cycles to perfection. Preparing and mixing dough using traditional, time-honoured techniques.
- Scoring, glazing, and shaping dough for top-quality results. Monitoring proofing and ensuring products meet our high artisan standards.
- Assisting in viennoiserie production when required. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Supporting the team to meet production schedules without compromising quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in artisan bread-making using traditional techniques.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation and proofing.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn – we welcome those with some experience who are keen to develop further.
