Responsibilities

  • Install new lift systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards

  • Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, cables, control panels, and safety devices
  • Perform comprehensive safety tests and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in logs and reports
  • Collaborate with project teams during installation phases and provide technical support as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience working with lift or elevator systems in a maintenance or installation capacity
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and control circuitry related to lifts
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams with precision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex issues
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, clients, and regulatory bodies
  • Relevant certifications such as NVQ3 or equivalent are highly desirable
