Key Responsibilities:
Prepare painting surfaces and structures by washing walls, repairing holes, removing old paint, plastering, sanding, and filling to achieve a smooth and professional finish.
Mix, match and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces.
Use tools such as brushes and rollers to apply paints and other finishes.
Calculate the number of materials required for a job and order supplies as necessary.
Follow safety procedures at all times and ensure that work areas are clean and tidy.
Communicate with other tradespeople and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Maintain accurate records of work done and materials used.
