We are a well-established small family run refurbishment and construction company looking to take on a Labourer/Driver. With experience working on residential and commercial sites in and around the London/Essex area. Day to day work will vary, from general labouring works on a range of properties we look after, to larger renovation and refurbishment projects with no two weeks being the same. The operative will be expected to be flexible, working on one site for months at a time or switching from one to another as the workload requires. Must be trustworthy and reliable. Confident with working on your own and within a team. - Labouring works i.e. assisting tradesmen, keeping site clean, loading/unloading materials, filling skips - Driving works i.e. using company vehicle to collect materials from suppliers and deliver to various sites Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, occasional weekend work as required. £125 per day. To safely and professionally disconnect and remove all existing bathroom appliances and fittings in preparation for renovation or replacement, ensuring all pipework is properly drained, sealed, and left in a safe and tidy condition. Scope of Work: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Site Assessment & Preparation Inspect bathroom layout and existing pipework. Identify and assess shut-off valves and drainage points. Protect surrounding areas (e.g., floors, walls) from water damage during removal. Shut-Off & Drainage Isolate water supply to bathroom fixtures. Drain down relevant pipework, including any associated hot and cold feed lines. Ensure full depressurisation of the water system before dismantling appliances. Appliance Disconnection & Removal Carefully disconnect and remove the following (as applicable): Toilet Basin/sink Bath Shower unit/enclosure Taps and valves Any wall-mounted or under-sink units connected to plumbing Disconnect and cap off associated pipework safely and in compliance with plumbing regulations. Post-Removal Tasks Seal all exposed pipework where necessary to prevent leaks or ingress. Remove waste appliances and fittings to designated disposal area (skip or waste facility). (To be confirmed) Leave work area clean, safe, and free from hazards.

Duties -Construct and assemble building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes. -Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. -Carry out masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework. -Execute plumbing tasks as required, ensuring all installations meet regulatory standards. -Conduct electrical installations and repairs in compliance with safety guidelines. -Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction activities. -Fabricate components as needed for specific projects. -Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to complete projects efficiently. -Strong knowledge of kitchen and bathroom fitting. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Skills -Proficiency in roofing techniques and materials. -Strong knowledge of masonry practices. -Ability to plumb effectively with attention to detail. -Understanding of electrical systems and installations. -Competence in using power tools safely and effectively. -Experience as a carpenter with strong framing skills. -Skilled in painting techniques for various surfaces. -Ability to fabricate components as required for specific builds. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A company vehicle will be provided so you must be able to drive and you will need your own basic tools.
