Responsibilities
- Deliver customised tutoring sessions to students across a range of subjects, including special education needs where applicable
- Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to develop effective learning plans
- Utilise diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents or guardians
- Create a supportive and motivating environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to ensure consistent support for students' learning journeys
- Maintain organised lesson plans and resources for efficient session delivery
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners
- Knowledge of special education strategies is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with diverse student needs and adapting teaching approaches accordingly
- Enthusiasm for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed
