Reservationist Monday to Friday The Megaro Collection is a privately-owned modern group, established over thirty years ago in King's Cross/St Pancras. Whilst we are a group of eclectic brands, each operation has its very own personality, in the same way as our people are unique. We are now looking for an experienced Reservationist, a bubbly and talkative individual, knowledgeable and passionate about hospitality. The ideal candidate will be experienced with the role for at least 2 years, will be IT literate and an excel super-user. The role requires great attention to details, and a in depth understanding of PMS system; experience with Guestline would be preferable but not a must to be considered for the role. Responsibilities: · Provide friendly and welcome contact with all guests, face to face, via telephone and email. · Ensure all guest requests are recorded accurately on PMS and communicated clearly to other departments as required. · Meticulously handling all reservations, cancellations and amendments on a daily basis via telephone, email and the website. · Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all short and long-term marketing promotions and opportunities. · Taking a proactive approach to understand and promote our company's portfolio of serviced apartments and service offering. · Being friendly and helpful when it comes to customer service and always working towards building relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat and regular business. · Work alongside the Revenue Manager and Events Manager. Senior Events Assistant Kings Cross St Pancras We are looking to recruit an energetic Senior Events Assistant for our beautiful meeting and events space at Derbyshire House, in Kings Cross St Pancras. Derbyshire house is very well known in the industry to be one the most versatile location for all types of events, corporate and private alike. The venue is made of modern meeting rooms and a rooftop terrace, hosting a wide range of events; from large corporate meetings to the wedding reception and much more. Although this is predominantly a Monday to Friday role, the candidate needs to be however flexible and happy to work during the weekend, whenever required. The Senior Events Assistant will be able to deliver exceptional customer service and will be experienced in running corporate functions. The ideal Coordinator will: · Ensure that the meeting spaces are set in accordance with the information supplied on function sheets. · Maintain a clear channel of communication with Kitchen and all other departments liaising and coordinating the functions alongside the Sales and Events Manager. · Set/reset the meeting rooms when required. Ensure that they are left in a presentable condition at all times. · Provide the highest level of service to our guests. · Connect and build rapport with guests at every possible opportunity. Night Hotel Receptionist – California Hotel 3* Kings Cross Born in 1985, our 60 bedrooms California Hotel is a unique bed & breakfast, the first property opened within the Megaro portfolio. We are looking to enlarge our family and are looking for an experienced Night Hotel Receptionist, ideally experienced with the role using Rezlynx (PMS system) – although not a must to be considered for the role. The receptionist will be working on-site 4 days a week (12 hrs shifts – 48 hrs per week), monitoring security of the property, responding professionally and promptly to emergency situation; communicating urgent issues to line manager or manager on duty always maintaining a fast correspondence with guests, and assisting as promptly as possible. The ideal candidate will be passionate, well presented with great eye for details, and plenty of passion about customer service and guest journey. The role reports directly to the Front of House Manager and requires someone with superb organisation and communication skills. It is essential to ensure the department is adequately briefed at all times therefore communication is key. Housekeeper - California Hotel 3* Kings Cross Born in 1985, our 60 bedrooms California Hotel is a unique guesthouse, the first property opened within The Megaro Collection portfolio. We are looking for a housekeeper for this wonderful property, someone that will be fully independent in ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness. The housekeeper will be responsible for guests’ bedrooms and the general upkeep of the hotel’s public areas. You will be methodical and conscientious with an eye for detail, ensuring the rooms are always sparkling clean.
