We are a specialist soft furnishings company producing high-quality, bespoke items including curtains, roman blinds, cushions, and upholstery. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sewing Machinist to join our growing workshop team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sew and assemble soft furnishings using industrial machines
Follow design specifications and measurements accurately
Work with a wide variety of fabrics (e.g. velvet, cotton, linen)
Ensure a high standard of finish and quality control
Assist with cutting, pinning, and general production tasks as needed
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar sewing role
Skilled in operating overlock sewing machines
High level of precision and attention to detail
Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
