Seeking a friendly and professional waiter to serve in our Main dining room as well as run Private Dining Rooms. We are London’s longest standing Michelin starred restaurant. Although fine dining experience is preferable full training will be given. a passion for food is essential as you will be learning all the dishes from Chef and explaining them to guests. Good time keeping and organisation skills are needed for this role.

Japanese Restaurant is looking for a friendly, attentive and reliable part-time waiter/waitress to join our front-of-house team. The role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and helping ensure that every guest receives warm, efficient and professional service. Japanese-language ability is not required and while previous experience in a Japanese restaurant is very useful, it’s not required as menu training will be provided. Key responsibilities * Welcome customers warmly and show them to their tables. * Explain the menu, answer questions and make suitable food and drink recommendations. * Take orders accurately and communicate clearly with the kitchen and other team members. * Serve food and drinks promptly, professionally and with attention to presentation. * Remain attentive to customers throughout their meal and respond quickly when assistance is required. * Prepare tables before service and clear, clean and reset them efficiently between customers. * Process bills and payments accurately. * Assist with takeaway orders and customer enquiries where required. * Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming dining area. * Follow all food-safety, hygiene and restaurant procedures. * Support colleagues and assist with other front-of-house duties whenever needed. The ideal candidate * Friendly, confident and comfortable communicating with customers. * Alert, observant and focused, with the ability to notice when customers or colleagues need assistance. * Able to work quickly and accurately during busy service periods while remaining calm and professional. * A proactive team player who takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked. * Reliable, punctual and well presented. * Able to learn the menu and describe dishes clearly to customers. * Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not essential. * Japanese-language ability is not required. * Must already have the right to work in the UK.
