WORK OPTION: The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week. Position Summary The Senior Production Manager will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of digital content production for the NBA Europe & Middle East (EME) region. Reporting to the Digital Content Team Leader, this role ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality, culturally relevant digital content across NBA digital and social platforms for the Consumer and Partnership teams. The Production Manager will oversee production, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and logistics for a variety of digital content projects. Working closely with Marketing, Global partnerships and external agency partners.This role requires exceptional organizational skills, production experience across digital platforms, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment tied to the NBA season. Major Responsibilities • Manage production operations for regional digital content projects, overseeing timelines, resourcing, and workflows across social, branded content and marketing campaigns, • Develop and implement production workflows, tools, and processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and cross-market collaboration, • Lead operational planning and delivery of digital content around NBA Global Games in Europe & Middle East, including scheduling, resourcing, and vendor support for game week coverage., • Manage all aspects of production budgets, including forecasting, allocation, vendor spend, and cost reporting. Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts for the Digital Content Lead and VP of Consumer to share with Senior Leadership, ensuring accountability and cost efficiency., • Develop strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring regular communication, and be able to troubleshoot issues and potential delays., • Review production reports to interpret key insights, identify gaps requiring discussion, and highlight learnings to inform decision-making., • Advise the Digital Content Lead of any potential problems or issues, particularly those impacting schedule and budget, and come prepared with proposed solutions., • Support Social Media teams shoot-specific operational requirements., • Assist Digital Content Team Leader in driving commercial goals for branded content, including pitch processes and documentation., • Lead RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and onboard external vendors to build a reliable, scale-able supplier network, while partnering with Legal to ensure all agreements and clearances are in place prior to production., • Partner with digital content, marketing, partnerships, and events teams to align production operations with regional business and fan engagement priorities. Required Skills/Knowledge • Experience of and interest in working in a sports and/or events, in pan European markets and/ or the Middle East., • Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Management within a sports environment, including at least 2 years as a Production Manager., • Experience in creating and managing detailed budgets, including cost tracking and reporting., • Extensive knowledge of archive clearance, music clearance, filming permits, drafting and reviewing contracts., • Experience in workflows and processes in a Digital content platforms, including distribution and channels., • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse production teams, crews, and contractors, • Excellent contacts and connections to European and Middle East agencies and freelancers, • Ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment., • Fluency in English and other European language is a plus., • Experience working with Asana is preferable Salary Range N/A Job Posting Title Senior Manager The NBA does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or any other third parties.
