The Role
We’re looking for a reliable Van Driver to join our team. You’ll be driving a company van and helping to collect and deliver furniture and household goods from donors’ homes to charity shops.
*Key duties:*
- Safely drive a company van on assigned routes across
- Load, carry, and lift household items including wardrobes, chest of drawers, sofas, armchairs, tables, and white goods.
- Use lifting equipment and work safely as a 2-person team
- Be polite and professional with donors and charity shop staff
- Complete basic paperwork and use our system for job updates.
- Keep the van clean, tidy, and report any faults.
What We’re Looking For
- A clean Valid UK driving licence – *Cat B licence minimum*
- Experience driving a van is preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items regularly.
- Good customer service skills and a friendly, respectful attitude.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a small team.
- Basic IT skills for using a tablet/phone for job updates.
