You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages professionally, efficiently and with attention to detail in a fast-paced bar environment. Key responsibilities: • Greet guests and take drink orders promptly and courteously., • Mix, garnish and serve drinks according to recipes and guest preferences., • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar., • Check customer identification to verify legal age requirements., • Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed., • Handle card transactions and manage tabs accurately., • Promote menu items and engage positively with guests., • Monitor guest behaviour and support a safe environment., • Work collaboratively with the waitstaff and kitchen teams., • Follow all health and safety requirements. Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is essential. You should have good knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask while working under pressure. A friendly, customer-focused and proactive approach is essential. The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting and moving bar stock, and working in a busy and sometimes loud environment. Staff should wear a clean, ironed white shirt, apron, dark trousers or jeans, and comfortable trainers. Hair should be neatly tied back, jewellery kept to a minimum, and personal hygiene maintained to a high standard.
