Brand new fine dining restaurant in Notting Hill seeking chefs with minimum 2 years fine dining experience.

Monday to Friday job in the city by bank station. Joining a team of 5 in a friendly small kitchen, European style food around £16 per hour, depend of the experience!

Tanakatsu is an original Japanese Katsu restaurant based in Angel Islington and has been running for last 8 years. Currently we are recruiting roll as CDP who has a minimum of 2 years experience in similar position As a CDP you are expected to help chefs peeper and serve food (not necessary to have experience in Japanese cuisine) be able to comunícate to with rest of kitchen members and work closely with head chef/owner to keep up both good standards. In return you will receive good wages meals on duty 20 days holiday+ bank holidays Two and half days off one of them will always be Sunday.

Key Responsibilities: Specialized Cooking: Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within their assigned section (e.g., breakfast). Supervision and Training: Overseeing and training any junior chefs or commis chefs working in their section. Section Management: Ensuring the smooth operation of their kitchen station, including preparation, cooking, and plating. Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene within their area. Inventory Management: Assisting with stock control and portion control to minimize waste. Teamwork: Collaborating with other chefs, including the sous chef and head chef, to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
