We are seeking dedicated and experienced waiting staff to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to our guests. As a member of our waiting staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities: - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. - Take and deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately. - Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have. - Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-maintained throughout service. - Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and efficiency. - Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service. - Uphold Skewd’s standards of excellence and hospitality. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or similar setting. - Exceptional customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - A positive attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry. Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Ascertains their dining/lodging needs. Seats guests and manage the seating chart. Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow. Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Performs opening and closing duties, as needed. Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc. Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

Join our friendly team in this busy family run cafe. Your role will involve meeting, greeting and seating customers. You will need to fully understand and communicate menu options serve drinks and food efficiently and with excellent customer service, make hot drinks (barista style coffee machine), operate an EPOS till with accuracy and speed. You will be expected to clear restaurant tables, fulfil tasks from the cleaning schedule and to operate as a committed member of the team, undertaking any tasks that arise that contribute to the efficiency of running the business. We are open 7 days and you will be expected to work weekends as well as week days. Our location means that applicants will need their own means transport.
