The Window and Door Warehouse Ltd is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Rainham Branch. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for various essential tasks within our warehouse environment, contributing to the efficient flow of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
- Safely perform heavy lifting tasks, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stocktaking activities.
- Prepare orders meticulously for dispatch.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
- Uphold a clean and organised warehouse, adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment is preferred.
- Must hold a valid ForkLift Licence.
- Ability to consistently perform heavy lifting tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
- A proactive attitude, demonstrating problem-solving abilities and a commitment to teamwork.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational needs.
