Hi! We're looking for production lead for our kitchen in Dalston (soon moving to Tower Hamlet). Welcome to the Pemmican Project! My goal is to create the best and cleanest animal-based foods and make them available to everyone, everywhere at the lowest possible price. All the production currently happens at our facility in Dalston, there's currently two other employees to help you learn everything you need to know. The role includes: • receiving & inspecting supplies, • drying the fresh beef & chicken, • preparing the product, • packaging, • Preparing and sending shipments Most of the work is done either alone or with another person there and the work is ideal for either listening to music/podcasts/audiobooks while you work. The ideal candidate is very orderly with attention to detail. Punctual and a self-starter. You need to either have, or be ready to acquire, a level 2 food hygiene certificate in order to start. Importantly, we're looking for someone who would want to stay with us for a long time.
