Hi There, We are looking to hire someone for 12 days in December (no Saturdays or Sundays) for a Christmas dinner that we do. We will be serving a 2 course meal (main and dessert) for on average 80 guests each night (it can be up to 120 guests). The majority of the food will be prepped / cooked in the day time and your role would be to help heat and plate up the food alongside our inhouse cook. The shifts will be 4 hours each day from 4-8pm and service will only be 1.5 hours of that the rest will be prep - pay is weekly. Here’s a quick explanation of the job: You’ll be delivering large shopping bags (similar to Amazon bags) to local convenience stores across London, such as Costcutter, NISA, and others. • Each route includes 8 to 15 stops., • Your first stop will always be the warehouse to collect the bags., • Your final stop will be returning to the warehouse after deliveries are complete. You’ll be driving an L4 van, which can carry between 20 and 150 bags, depending on the day’s workload. This is a middle-mile delivery job, meaning you deliver from the warehouse to shops, not to residential homes. The day rate for this job will be £80 for 4 hours with a potential to earn even more in the afternoons.
