Management Accountant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)\n Hayes, Middlesex (Hybrid Working)\n £40,000 + Benefits\n\n We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing, consumer-focused business on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic finance team, supporting both UK and international operations in a fast-paced environment.\n This role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, partnering with stakeholders, and playing a key role in delivering accurate financial insights to support business decision-making.\n\n The Role\n Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial information, supporting month-end processes, and providing meaningful analysis to drive performance across the business.\n You will also work closely with Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring smooth financial operations across the wider finance function.\n \nAbout You\n \nPart-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or actively studying \nMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Management Accounts role \nStrong Excel skills with the ability to analyse large data sets \nHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills \nProactive, self-motivated and keen to learn \nConfident communicator, able to work with stakeholders across finance and the wider business Desirable (not essential):\n Experience with ERP systems such as D365, Oracle, Hyperion/OneStream or similar, and exposure to Power BI.\n \nKey Responsibilities\n \nAssist with month-end close and production of monthly management accounts \nPrepare P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and working capital reports \nDeliver variance analysis with clear and insightful commentary \nComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliations \nPrepare accruals, prepayments, stock provisions and bad debt reports \nProduce own-store P&L reporting with commentary \nSupport forecasting processes, including quarterly order intake forecasts \nProvide sales and KPI reporting to support commercial teams \nAssist Accounts Payable with invoice coding and process improvements \nSupport Accounts Receivable activities when required \nLiaise with internal and external auditors \nManage contract documentation within internal systems \nSupport regulatory reporting (e.g. ONS surveys) \nContribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives \n \n What’s on Offer\n \nSalary of £40,000 \n25 days holiday (pro rata) \nPension scheme \nHybrid working (4 days based in Hayes head office, Friday’s working from home) Candidates MUST be within a commutable distance \nSubsidised lunch options \nOpportunity to gain exposure within an international finance environment
