The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capabilities, analytical acumen, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business intelligence. Key Responsibilities Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets to uncover meaningful trends and patterns. Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau. Collaborate with stakeholders to capture data requirements and deliver insights aligned with business objectives. Automate recurring processes using Excel Macros, VBA, or Bash scripting to improve efficiency. Develop and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Support ad hoc analysis and reporting needs across departments. Document workflows, data dictionaries, and procedures to ensure data governance and clarity. Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), contributing to requirements gathering, testing, and implementation. Perform advanced statistical analysis and data manipulation using Python or R (desirable). Contribute to the design and optimisation of database schemas and data pipelines. Required Experience & Skills 1–2 years’ experience in a Data Analyst or similar role, or strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics). Proficient in SQL for querying, joining, and transforming data. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data wrangling techniques. Proficient with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to explain data-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders. Highly collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn. Desirable Hands-on exposure to Python or R for data modelling, automation, or analytics. Familiarity with cloud platforms, ETL tools, or workflow orchestration frameworks. Ability to self-manage workload and prioritise tasks in line with changing business needs.
