Leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a £40M new build care home scheme in Surrey. The project involves the construction of 112 traditional build homes and requires strong leadership from inception through to handover. Candidates with a trade background will be at an advantage. Key Responsibilities • Lead the project to ensure completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards., • Act as the main point of contact with the client, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships., • Direct, mentor, and support project staff in line with contractual, regulatory, and construction requirements., • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring all site teams perform to the required standard., • Oversee day-to-day operations, driving efficiency and productivity across the site., • Deliver progress reports, monitor performance, and resolve any issues that may arise., • Promote continuous improvement, streamline processes, and ensure a seamless service to the client., • Capture lessons learned and contribute to the ongoing development of project teams. Qualifications & Experience • Qualification in a trade, construction, or site management., • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor., • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS accreditation required., • Proven track record delivering large-scale residential schemes., • Strong commercial awareness with cost control and construction planning expertise., • Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project/Powerproject) and MS Office., • Experienced in leading project teams and managing subcontractors effectively., • In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance.
