\n • Business: emap\n, • Department: Metropolis Education/ UK Boarding Schools\n, • Base Location: East Croydon\n, • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent/Hybrid\n, • Salary: £25,000- £28,000 DOE\n\n \n Overall Purpose of the Role: \n An exciting, varied role in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for all the administrative duties for Metropolis Education and its partner schools through the support of the sales team, invoicing, social media/marketing, events, logistics, planning, communications and research. The role will involve events in the UK and overseas with some travel expected. \n Key Responsibilities: \n Sales Support / Administration: \n\n • Raising and managing invoices for events, training and associated costs, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up\n, • Maintaining and updating the key databases and “the Bible”, including:\n, • Updating contacts and key decision-makers.\n, • Diarising and tracking termly client meetings.\n, • Managing ROI tracking, usage summaries and performance reporting\n, • Education Agent Database (Excel), Helpdesk and prospectus enquiries\n, • Image libraries, guides, downloadable resources, and internal forms essential to business operations.\n, • Managing the internal inbox, responding where appropriate and escalating enquiries efficiently\n, • Sending guides and information packs to parents, prospective and current clients, schools and other contacts as required\n, • Helping prioritise workload around peak event periods and acting as a point of contact for client enquiries when the core team is overseas, ensuring timely responses and smooth day-to-day operations\n\n Marketing & Events Support: \n\n • Conducting research for UK and overseas events, including identifying and managing new contacts and opportunities\n, • Supporting event logistics, delegate communications, and preparation materials\n, • Attending UK and overseas events where required to assist with set-up, delivery and on-the-ground support\n, • Assisting with the back-office management of the ticketing platform (registrations, attendee data, monitoring bookings)\n, • Gathering and analysing event data to inform reporting, future planning, and marketing decisions\n, • Preparing event marketing materials, including leaflets, brochures, event guides, travel guides, and supporting assets\n, • Administering and scheduling social media content across platforms, and assisting with gathering copy and images for campaigns\n, • Supporting content planning, campaign delivery, and the scheduling and distribution of email campaigns to prospective and existing clients\n, • Working closely with colleagues to ensure marketing output is accurate, on-brand and timely\n\n Key Skills: \n\n • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook\n, • Knowledge of Canva is a plus\n, • Knowledge of WordPress is a plus\n, • Experience with email marketing platforms and ticketing systems is a plus\n, • Who You Are:\n, • Highly organised with strong attention to detail\n, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Confident handling client enquiries professionally\n, • Proactive and solutions-focused, able to anticipate needs and escalate issues appropriately\n, • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams\n, • Interest in events, marketing, and international markets is advantageous.\n\n Who You Are: \n\n • Highly organised with strong attention to detail\n, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Confident handling client enquiries professionally\n, • Proactive and solutions-focused, able to anticipate needs and escalate issues appropriately\n, • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams\n, • Interest in events, marketing, and international markets is advantageous\n\n Who We Are: \n We are a small, close-knit team who work in different parts of the country but are very much together.
