    About us We are a modern luxury garment care and laundry business operating out of our dedicated production facility in Battersea. We combine expert garment care with a seamless digital collection and delivery service. We are looking for an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Operations & Fulfillment Assistant to join our team at the heart of our production hub. Role Overview As an Operations & Fulfillment Assistant, you will be the anchor of our daily operations. Based at our Battersea plant, you will manage the vital bridge between our online customers, our drivers, and our production floor. Important Note: This is a non-processing operational and administrative role. You will not be handling the washing, dry cleaning, or pressing of garments; instead, you will focus entirely on order management, intake, quality control, customer communication, and logistics coordination. Key Responsibilities Order Booking & Management: Monitor, accept, and schedule incoming online orders, ensuring pickup and delivery time windows are accurately logged in our system. Garment Tagging & Intake: Review incoming items, apply appropriate tracking tags, and sort orders so the production team can process them smoothly. Quality Control (QC): Inspect finished garments and orders coming off the production line to ensure they meet our strict quality standards before they are packed and dispatched. Delivery & Driver Organization: Coordinate daily collection and delivery routes, liaise with drivers/riders and ensure smooth handovers for dispatch. Customer Communication: Handle inbound phone calls and messages from clients regarding delivery updates, special care instructions, or rescheduling requests. Requirements & Skills Exceptional Organization: Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills: Clear, polite, and confident phone and written communication skills. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems, booking software, and mobile communication apps. Proactive & Reliable: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a problem-solving mindset. Previous experience in a logistics, customer service, or fast-paced retail/production environment is a plus, but full training will be provided.

    Job Title: In-House Seamstress / Tailor Location: South Kensington, London Start Date: Urgent — we need someone to start this week Contract: Full-time holiday cover for our Head Tailor throughout September, moving to a part-time basis (2 days a week, flexible) from October onwards Salary: £150–£200 per day, dependent on relevant experience About Holden & Hunt Holden & Hunt started as Gormley & Gamble — London's first women-only tailor in the history of Savile Row's 200 years, creating exquisitely crafted garments for discerning women. From bespoke dresses to beautifully finished suits, we specialise in one-of-a-kind, made-to-measure pieces that empower women to feel confident, strong, and utterly themselves. Based in South Kensington and born on Savile Row, our ethos is simple: women deserve tailoring that fits — not just their bodies, but their lifestyles too. We're looking for a meticulous, highly skilled Freelance In-House Tailor/Seamstress to provide full-time holiday cover for our Head Tailor this September, continuing on a part-time basis afterwards. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our bespoke production process — working within a creative, fast-paced environment to craft beautifully finished garments for our discerning clientele. We need someone brilliant, with the most exceptional finishing techniques, to join us urgently — ideally starting this week. Based primarily in our South Kensington atelier, you'll manage client alterations and be responsible for the creation of bespoke garments, from toiles through to finished pieces. Key Responsibilities • Handle all client alterations, from simple adjustments to complex garment reworkings, • Create one-off bespoke pieces, including toiles and final garments, • Assist at fittings when required, ensuring exceptional fit, finish, and presentation, • Collaborate closely with the pattern cutter, design, and fitting teams to bring each client's vision to life, • Ensure all garments meet Holden & Hunt's exacting standards of quality and craftsmanship, • Manage your own workload effectively, balancing multiple projects and deadlines What We're Looking For • A meticulous approach and an exceptional eye for detail and precision — nothing less than perfect finishing will do, • Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor within a bespoke, couture, or luxury fashion environment for 10+ years, • Technically very accomplished, with expert hand and machine sewing, garment finishing, and complex alterations, • Proven experience with luxury garment finishing techniques, • Exceptional skill and confidence working with delicate fabrics, particularly silk, • Preferably formally trained — Savile Row or another renowned institution — though this is not essential, • Smartly dressed and well presented at all times, particularly during client fittings and while in the studio; first impressions matter to us, • A genuine team player who goes above and beyond, • Ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining exceptional quality, • Strong communication skills and a friendly, collaborative approach during client fittings, • A genuine love for beautiful clothes and empowering women through your craft, • Previous tailoring or luxury womenswear experience strongly preferred, • Pattern cutting experience advantageous but not essential Additional Info • This role starts as freelance, with the intention to move to a permanent position for the right candidate, • From October, we need someone available 2 days a week — we're flexible on which days To Apply Please send your CV, along with two examples of your best work — the pieces of sewing you're most proud of — by email.
