We are currently looking to recruit experienced Class 1 drivers to work within our Grimsby site, as part of a cold store operation. Working on a 5 out of 7 shift pattern. Responsibilities: · Adhere to statutory regulations governing road haulage. · Carry out daily vehicle checks and vehicle defect reporting. · Keep vehicles clean (inside and out). · Responsible for vehicles and loads. · Checking Loading/Unloading. · Reporting problems with deliveries. · Responsible for obtaining signed receipts for deliveries and collections. · Ensure maintenance of required load temperatures and load conditions. · Ensure receipt of good pallets or PCV at delivery. · Carry out security checks and ensure the security of vehicle and load. · Carry out any other duties as laid down in the current issue of the ‘Driver’s Handbook’. · Comply with company policies regarding ISO9002, BS7750, Health & Safety and Training.
