This is an excellent opportunity for those with proven experience within bespoke and high-volume manufacturing environments. \n If you have experience in a senior leadership role within engineering/manufacturing, apply now for an immediate response! \n The Job you will do: \n\n • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organisation’s business objectives and growth plans.\n, • Contribute to company-wide strategic planning as a member of the senior leadership team.\n, • Identify and evaluate opportunities for investment, automation, process optimisation, and operational innovation.\n, • Lead business transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.\n, • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all production departments.\n, • Ensure production schedules are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.\n, • Monitor workflow and capacity planning to optimise machine utilisation and workforce efficiency.\n, • Drive improvements in throughput, quality, waste reduction, and on-time delivery performance.\n, • Ensure effective maintenance strategies are implemented to maximise equipment reliability, availability, and uptime.\n, • Lead, coach, and develop departmental managers and operational teams to achieve business objectives.\n, • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.\n, • Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.\n, • Champion quality standards and best practices throughout the production process.\n, • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\n, • Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace practices.\n, • Oversee quality management processes to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and minimise rework.\n, • Manage operational budgets and monitor departmental financial performance.\n, • Monitor, analyse, and improve key operational performance metrics.\n, • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure operational capability supports commercial objectives.\n, • Drive continuous cost improvement while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.\n\n About you: \n\n • Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role.\n, • Extensive experience managing complex manufacturing operations across multiple production departments.\n, • Demonstrable success in improving operational efficiency, quality, productivity, and profitability.\n, • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop, motivate, and engage high-performing teams.\n, • Excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving, and project management skills.\n, • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving cost improvement.\n, • Ability to analyse operational data, identify trends and opportunities, and translate insights into effective action.\n, • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Experience leading multi-site, high-volume, or complex manufacturing operations.\n, • Qualifications or formal training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.\n, • Experience implementing and optimising production management systems, ERP/MIS platforms, workflow automation tools, or other digital operational technologies.\n
