Our Client Our client is an established and rapidly growing property development organisation based in Tamworth, with an impressive pipeline of Affordable Housing and Specialist Supported Housing schemes across the UK. They work closely with registered providers, housing associations, local authorities, and specialist care operators to deliver high-quality homes for people who need them most. Role As Project Manager based in Tamworth, you'll sit at the heart of the Development Team, taking end-to-end ownership of Affordable Housing and Specialist Supported Housing schemes from inception through to practical completion. Working across NEC and JCT contracts, you'll lead stakeholder engagement, programme management, and construction project delivery to ensure every scheme is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Responsibilities As Project Manager in Tamworth, your responsibilities will include: • Managing end-to-end delivery of Affordable Housing and Specialist Supported Housing schemes from feasibility through to handover, • Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes, proactively managing risks, costs, and milestones, • Acting as the primary point of contact for registered providers, local planning authorities, contractors, and specialist care operators, • Managing contractor and consultant appointments, procurement processes, and contract administration under JCT and NEC frameworks, • Ensuring compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, CDM 2015, and Homes England funding requirements, • Producing clear and regular project status reports for internal leadership and external partners, • Working closely with acquisition, planning, and finance colleagues to support a growing development pipeline Person Specification To be successful in this Project Manager role in Tamworth, you will bring solid experience in construction project delivery within residential development, Affordable Housing, or Specialist Supported Housing. • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Construction Delivery Manager within the built environment, • Strong understanding of the end-to-end construction and development delivery process, • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders, • Knowledge of JCT or NEC contract frameworks, • Familiarity with Homes England funding programmes and Affordable Housing tenure types, • Experience delivering Specialist Supported Housing, Extra Care, or supported living schemes is highly desirable, • Degree, HNC/HND in Construction Management or a related discipline preferred, • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM, or equivalent is desirable, • A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused, • Easily commutable to Tamworth and willing to travel to sites across the UK as required Remuneration This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth organisation based in Tamworth, delivering some of the UK's most impactful Affordable Housing and Healthcare development schemes, with genuine scope for career progression into senior leadership.
