Job Title: B3 Counterbalance Forklift Driver \n Location: Shirley, Solihull \n Pay Rate: £13.74 per hour \n Hours: Fixed Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30 \n Contract Type: Temporary ongoing \n \n We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver with a valid and in-date B3 category license as a minimum. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the team with a major equipment hire company, known widely across the UK, offering an immediate start for the right candidate. \n Please be aware, only applicants with a valid and in date Counterbalance license, Category B3 will be considered for this position. B1 and B2 category will not be accepted \n \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift truck (B3 Category minimum).\n, • Loading and unloading.\n, • Moving and allocating heavy stock around the site.\n, • Organising stock and maintaining safe storage areas.\n, • Following all health and safety procedures.\n, • Loading and unloading live loads, weighing up to 15 tons\n, • Manoeuvring the truck through narrow aisles and tight spaces\n, • General duties as and when required, stock taking, hygiene etc\n\n \n Requirements: \n\n • A valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift B3 Category only.\n, • Minimum 1 year counterbalance forklift experience (essential).\n, • Applicants must be confident and capable operating the forklift truck.\n, • Proven ability to handle and manoeuvre heavy stock.\n, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.\n, • Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.\n, • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\n, • Comfortable working in a busy environment.\n\n \n Benefits: \n\n • Competitive hourly rate of £13.74.\n, • Fixed day shift – Monday to Friday, no weekends.\n, • Temp-to-perm opportunity with a major equipment hire company.\n, • Immediate start available.\n, • Free on-site parking.\n, • Supportive and long-term team environment.\n\n \n \n If you meet the above criteria and are looking for a stable role with the chance to go permanent in Solihull, we’d love to hear from you.
