Job DescriptionA prestigious global law firm is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join its Finance team. This position will support attorneys and practice groups across multiple offices and play a key role in the firm's billing operations. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, client service focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced professional services environment.Billing Coordinator Responsibilities: • Prepare, review, edit, and process attorney billing in accordance with client guidelines and firm policies., • Coordinate monthly billing cycles for assigned attorneys and practice groups., • Review prebills, make narrative edits, adjust time and costs, and ensure invoices are accurate and timely., • Work directly with attorneys, legal assistants, and clients to resolve billing questions and discrepancies., • Submit electronic invoices through various eBilling platforms and monitor invoice status., • Research and resolve rejected invoices, deductions, and billing compliance issues., • Assist with client onboarding, billing rate updates, and matter maintenance., • Monitor aging work in process (WIP) and collaborate with attorneys to ensure timely billing., • Generate billing reports and provide analysis to attorneys and finance leadership., • Maintain a strong understanding of outside counsel guidelines and client billing requirements., • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives within the Finance department.Billing Coordinator Qualifications:, • Bachelor's degree is required., • 2+ years of billing, legal billing, finance, accounting, accounts receivable, or professional services experience., • Experience supporting attorneys or legal professionals preferred., • Familiarity with eBilling platforms such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Tymetrix, Serengeti, or similar systems is a plus., • Strong Microsoft Excel skills., • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment., • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
