Positions Available: Line Cook, Prep Cook, Porter Key Responsibilities Line Cook: • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment., • Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu execution while maintaining consistency and presentation., • Ensure that food is prepared according to Norte’s recipes and standards., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations., • Assist with inventory and kitchen prep as needed. Prep Cook: • Prepare and assemble ingredients with accuracy and consistency., • Follow prep lists and recipes according to Norte’s standards., • Ensue proper storage of food items to maintain freshness and quality., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep stations. Porter: • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, walls, and appliances., • Promptly clean up spills to maintain a safe work environment., • Assist with receiving and organizing equipment and ingredient deliveries., • Maintain organization in food and supply storage areas. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced open-kitchen environment., • Mexican cuisine experience is a plus., • Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail., • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment., • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively., • Knowledge of kitchen safety and health regulations., • Flexibility in work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is for our production facility in South Williamsburg with additional shifts available at our Bakery in West Village in Manhattan.
