We are seeking a motivated and friendly Deli Cashier/Barista to join our bustling deli in the heart of New York City. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing transactions and preparing coffee and beverage orders. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle cash transactions. Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages according to customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli and coffee preparation areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met. Answer customer inquiries and provide recommendations on menu items. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation during busy hours. Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and barista skills a plus.
