Full Job Description Perspective ABA is a behavioral health organization and educational consulting company, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and educational consulting services for children with an ASD, ADHD, related disabilities, birth to age 21 in the Staten Island area. Our highly qualified BCBA/LBAs/NY (Board Certified Behavior Analysts/ Licensed Behavior Analysts) possess years of documented experience and training and utilize their extensive skills to improve educational, social, behavioral and adaptive skills with individually tailored programs. We offer expert treatment, training and teaching, innovative techniques, and compassionate and creative therapy. We are currently seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts and New York Licensed Behavioral Analysts to provide weekly teaching/therapeutic hours to clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other behavioral, social and communication challenges. Providers must not be employees of the NYCDOE, must have after school or weekend availability and must be appropriately licensed. Training in specialized reading instruction and common core in addition to ABA experience is needed. In addition to clinical skills, the provider must be fluent with Google products, meet, drive, etc. and possess superior writing skills. Afternoon hours needed currently, after 3pm. We are currently seeking a full-time in-house legal e-billing/conflict assistant to join our Accounting Department in Iselin, NJ. The successful candidate must be familiar with running conflict checks and with billing methods to ensure accuracy of all invoices, as well as be adept at using billing software. This role demands strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with attorneys and administrative staff. The Position's Essential Duties and Requirements: You will be responsible for performing daily conflict checks, preparing conflict check reports on new clients or matters to protect against liability and any conflicting interests. Accurately record billable and non-billable hours spent on client cases, ensuring adequate time tracking for accurate invoicing and generating monthly reports. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Utilize the firm's conflict checking software to run searches on potential new clients and matters against the existing client database, identifying any potential conflicts of interest. Accurately input client information into the conflict database, including parties involved, relevant legal matters, and associated companies. Conduct additional research using internal and external databases to verify client identities and potential conflicts. Works closely with Family Support Services Advisory Council (FSSAC) and the Community Outreach Committee. Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma Responsibilities: Family Support Services Advisory Council: • Maintain a FSSAC contact list • Send out FSSAC meeting announcements provided by the co-chairs • Create flyers for FSSAC meetings • Work with the Administrative Assistant to prep quarterly reports as dictated by the terms of the Family Support contract for DDRO—liaison with Lifestyles for the Disabled. • Order and set-up refreshments for FSSAC in-person meetings • Maintain Zoom account • Order materials as needed Outreach: • Collaborate with the Outreach Committee and FSSAC to develop, maintain and update as needed SIDDC/ OPWDD information packets. • Develop in conjunction with the SIDDC Outreach Committee and FSSAC, a community outreach presentation. The presentation should be updated as needed and reviewed each year. • Collaborate with the FSSAC and Outreach Committee to develop an outreach plan monthly. • Submit a monthly log that includes a summary of all tasks completed on a daily basis along with a monthly outline for the next month. This should be submitted the first Monday of each month (12 months). • Responsible for SIDDC membership recruitment including follow up by mail and telephone and matching member interests with committee needs. • Works with the Outreach Committee (ongoing) to identify SIDDC information to be noted on the website, included in information packets, and any other print materials related to the SIDDC. • Maintain and update the SIDDC website. • Maintain and update social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube) • Assists the FSSAC in various duties. • Perform all other duties as assigned by the SIDDC Community Outreach co-chairs and FSSAC co-chairs. • Maintain the Information Outreach Coordinator (IOC) handbook. This position does not require working with individuals receiving services in an unsupervised manner.
