Looking for an experienced paralegal or research assistant who has experience performing primary and secondary research to answer legal questions. 80% of role focuses on research including – what specific cases and statutes are important on the topic at hand, mandatory case precedents, and relevant statutory law and legislation on the topic. Experience in real estate, finance and bankruptcy law preferred but not mandatory. Part-time on a project by project basis, fully remote.

We are seeking a highly skilled legal assistant or paralegal or JD with experience in active litigation and complex commercial disputes. Any state. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with drafting and refining legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests. - Conduct comprehensive legal research on securities law, sufficiency of complex claims, and related litigation strategies. - Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are systematically categorized and readily accessible. - Review and summarize depositions, expert reports, and key filings. - Coordinate communication among legal teams, including scheduling, meeting notes, and correspondence management. Requirements: - Paralegal certification or JD candidate may be preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. - Strong understanding of legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis. - Strong understanding of AI tools such as Lexis+ and Casetext/CoCounsel - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work remotely and meet tight deadlines.
