Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with drafting and refining legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on securities law, sufficiency of complex claims, and related litigation strategies.
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are systematically categorized and readily accessible.
- Review and summarize depositions, expert reports, and key filings.
- Coordinate communication among legal teams, including scheduling, meeting notes, and correspondence management.
Requirements:
- Paralegal certification or JD candidate may be preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
- Strong understanding of legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Strong understanding of AI tools such as Lexis+ and Casetext/CoCounsel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely and meet tight deadlines.
Duration: Ongoing (initial expected at least 3-month commitment with potential for extension)
Hourly Rate: competitive, depending on experience.
